[Implementation of Recruitment and Counseling Work Plan for Students with Disabilities]
Provide counseling, transition support, and assessment referrals for new or suspected cases of students with disabilities in the Continuing Education College and the Continuing Education and Extension Division.
Assist students with disabilities in these divisions to apply to the Ministry of Education’s Technology Assistive Device Center for loaned assistive devices.
Develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs/ISPs) for students with disabilities in these divisions.
Compile annual performance reports for the Ministry of Education’s subsidized program for recruitment and counseling of students with disabilities.
Organize extracurricular activities in the Resource Classroom (e.g., welcome meals at the start of the semester, birthday celebrations).
Implement special education promotion and inclusive education theme activities, and assist with Resource Classroom outdoor learning activities.
Conduct satisfaction surveys on Resource Classroom counseling and service measures (June and December).
